The last of my silver – for now… :)

Jewellery, Pendants

I’m sharing the latest of my pendants and experiments with transparent enamels on sterling silver. The first two I’m pleased with – they both developed partly because of those happy accidents that sometimes pop up, frustrate but ultimately provide a surprising satisfaction. The third one however was a surprise that I’m not happy with! So I’m going to re-fire it and give it a new lease of life. It’s funny how as a perfectionist I can only focus on the work i’m happy with for so long before I re-focus on my ‘failure’. Which is why I’m going for the before and after effect in an effort to give myself a break! 🙂 I’ll post the ‘after’ photo in a few days… Enjoy your weekend 🙂

I’ve included here a selection of my experiments and learning experiences! Some are successful and have given life to new ideas, others I didn’t like so much and I just put down to experience.

The above pendant is for sale in my Etsy shop for £6.00 plus postage and shipping.

The above picture was one of my success stories… I’m developing a new range of jewellery based on using felt and wool (and possibly other media) in my work.

The long etched copper pendant was the precurser to my etched copper pendants.
